The IRN is structured around three methodological pillars applied transversally across all territories:

1) The development of multi-scale remote sensing approaches;
2) The design and deployment of low-cost environmental sensor systems to complement spatial data;
3) The joint analysis of social and environmental vulnerabilities and their links to health (One Health).

The consortium brings together laboratories from the University of Arizona, universities in Quebec, and several French institutions (Rennes, Nice, Lyon, Bordeaux) that already collaborate on these topics. Driven by an interdisciplinary approach combining Earth sciences, public health, social sciences, computer science and data science, this IRN aims to develop innovative methodologies for environmental monitoring, provide tools to enhance societal resilience, and promote public health policies tailored to environmental risks. Two IRC and 4 IRL and 6 UMR are involved.
